Any citizen who is aged 65 and above and who has enrolled for the Medicare healthcare insurance plans, is eligible to enroll for the Supplement Insurance Plans or Medigap plans offered by the private insurers. Plan K is a benefit plan where the out of pocket expenses are covered. The upper ceiling for this plan is $5880. Once the ceiling is reached, the entire services are settled by this plan.
